David C. Fielding joined Hospice of Palm Beach County as President and Chief Executive Officer in December 1998. Under Mr. Fielding's leadership, Hospice of Palm Beach County has grown by more than 800 patients on a daily basis. Prior to his current position, Mr. Fielding served for two years as Executive Director of United Hospice Incorporated of Lilburn, Georgia, one of the largest hospice companies in the southeastern United States, with eleven offices in Georgia and South Carolina. Previously he spent seven years with Vitas Healthcare Corporation, the largest hospice organization in the country. During this time he worked in Miami and Boston, and served as Director of Development and Managed Care in Chicago and General Manager in Lombard and Skokie, Illinois. Mr. Fielding has a Bachelors of Arts in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and a Masters of Science in Health Systems Management from Rush University in Chicago. He is a member of the National Hospice Organization, Florida Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. and the National Association for Home Care.

Warren W. Blanchard, Jr. joined Spectrum Health, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer in August 2005 with over 30 years experience serving middle market companies. Mr. Blanchard is a Certified Public Accountant specializing in merger, acquisition and divestment transaction management. Prior to his current position, he was a founding Partner of Brisbane Capitol and also formed SunCoast Capitol Corp., an international business search and strategic planning consulting firm serving middle market companies. SunCoast managed merger and acquisition transactions representing both buyers and sellers in a variety of industries. Prior to forming SunCoast, Mr. Blanchard was Managing Partner of Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP) in West Palm Beach and a Partner in Miami and Tampa. During his career in investment banking and public accounting he managed over 40 M&A transactions, representing both buyers and sellers. Aggregate transaction values exceed $850 million. Mr. Blanchard is a graduate of the University of South Florida. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Kathleen Emmett joined Hospice of Palm Beach County in November 2004 as Director of Development. In this role, she was responsible for procuring major gifts while overseeing gift planning, donor relations, special events and data processing. Ms. Emmett was promoted to Vice President of Resource Development in June 2007 to manage the daily operations and related staff for Spectrum Healthcare Foundation. Prior to joining Hospice of Palm Beach County, she spent nine years coordinating fundraising programs, public relations and marketing campaigns while serving as chief development officer for various local non-profits. Ms. Emmett received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia. Currently, she serves as Vice President of Membership for the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is an active member of the Planned Giving Council of Palm Beach County.

Dennis Stefanacci has worked as a consultant with Hospice of Palm Beach County since 2004 and has helped the organization develop its current comprehensive fund raising program. Recently he expanded his role with the organization by assuming the role of Director of Major and Planned Gifts. With more than 30 years direct experience in the not-for-profit sector Mr. Stefanacci has held senior positions at several major health care systems nationally, including as senior vice president of institutional advancement at Intracoastal Health Systems in Palm Beach County, Florida, as well as at the Toledo Museum of Art, Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home (Boys Town), and at several colleges and universities including the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Mr. Stefanacci has bachelor and master degrees in sociology from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has achieved the prestigious designation of Advanced Certified Fund Raising Executive (ACFRE), and earned professional and educational recognition from organizations such as the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), which named him National Outstanding Fund Raising Executive of the Year in 1996. Mr. Stefanacci has been active as a presenter both nationally and internationally on many topics, and is also a dedicated community volunteer, having served on many volunteer boards throughout his career.

Cindy DeSilva

Cindy DeSilva joined Hospice of Palm Beach County in 2001 in the Accounting Department. One year later, she joined the Community Development Department to streamline the data entry process and improve the maintenance of donor information. In 2004, she assumed the role of Donor Relations Coordinator and was charged with cultivating existing donors and creating new fundraising opportunities. Mrs. DeSilva was promoted to Manager of Annual Programs and, ultimately, to Director of Annual Programs. In her current role, she is responsible for the creation, implementation and evaluation of expanded annual, memorial and donor recognition programs. Prior to joining Hospice of Palm Beach County, Mrs. DeSilva was a resident of Bergen County, New Jersey where she lived with her husband and three sons. At present, she serves as North County Liaison on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Lauryn Barry

Lauryn Barry joined Hospice of Palm Beach County in January 2007 as Special Events Coordinator. In this role, she is responsible for the development and implementation of community outreach fundraising events and programs. Additionally, she oversees all corporate relations. Prior to joining Hospice of Palm Beach County, Ms. Barry served as Director of Foundation Operations at the American Gastroenterology Association’s Foundation for Digestive Health and Nutrition in Bethesda, MD, where she oversaw all gift processing activities, donor relations and special events, as well as the administration of research grants in excess of $2 million per year. Ms. Barry received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the George Washington University. She is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
