Donations to the Wish List allow Spectrum Healthcare Foundation to underwrite the cost of Hospice of Palm Beach County's unanticipated items not included in the annual budget. Some donors choose to underwrite specific items, whereas others make a general donation to the Wish List to be used for identified items and future needs. The following are special Wish List items that are needed to enhance patient care delivery and improve professional development:

One hundred and twenty (120) books dedicated for teenage clients of the John J. Brogan Horizons Bereavement services.
Cost: $14.00 each

One hundred (100) books used by John J. Brogan Horizons Bereavement Center counselors in pet loss workshops and individual clients.
Cost: $10.00 each

Four (4) digital pulse oximetry units are needed for Hospice of Palm Beach County's home team nurses to monitor patients' oxygen concentration.
Cost: $495.00 each

One (1) INRatio Pro Kit and Test Strips are need for Hospice of Palm Beach County's home team nurses to test patients' blood.
Cost: $2,298.00

Four (4) portable pumps used for IV infusion of medications.
Cost: $2,900.00 each Hospira Fanny Packs
Ten (10) fanny packs for patients to carry his or her Gemstar Pump.
Cost: $32.00 each

Eight (8) power cords used when Gemstar pumps are not on battery.
Cost: $150.00 each

Eight (8) clamps used for attaching Gemstar pumps to IV poles.
Cost: $63.00 each

Thirty-six (36) flat screen televisions compatible with bedside remote.

Five (5) computers for use by our patients and families in our inpatient units.
