Why is my gift needed?
At Spectrum Healthcare Foundation, we work within the ambiguity of an ever-changing
healthcare environment and the financial uncertainties that accompany it. Not only
have we become increasingly concerned about our ability to continue to maintain this
commitment because of the declining reimbursement rates that are already negatively
impacting our revenues, but it is also clear that our financial concerns of tomorrow are,
in fact, the realities of today.Our goal is to build an organization with an asset base substantial enough to positively impact the future of Spectrum Health, Inc. and its subsidiaries, including Hospice of Palm Beach County. As such, we are dedicated to supporting programs and services that enhance the quality of life in our community through strategic philanthropy, competitive fund management, and the responsible stewardship of those gifts entrusted to us.
Why should I give every year?
Annual gifts are typically used during Spectrum Healthcare Foundation's fiscal year
(October 1 - September 30). A new year brings new needs to Hospice of Palm Beach
County.
Why should I give if I can't give much?
Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. Your support is a vote of confidence
in Spectrum Healthcare Foundation. Also, strong donor participation helps improve
access to care for all those in need of Hospice of Palm Beach County's services.
How do matching gifts increase the impact of my gift?
Many companies match employee charitable contributions. Contact your Human
Resource department to learn how to take advantage of the benefit.
Where can I designate my gift?
Gifts can be made to an area most meaningful to you. A donor may designate his or
her gift towards a specific program (link to supported programs) or particular inpatient
unit (link to naming opportunities).
