Fountains Country Club, Lake Worth
The 26th annual Fountains Golf Tournament and Dinner was held recently at the Fountains Country Club in Lake Worth. Sonny Bilkis served as Chairman, with Murray Brass as Honorary Chairman and Al Bass, Chet Daubert, Marian Green, Don Kaplan, Joel Keslow, Herb Krieger, Sheldon Levine, Jerry Luft, Suzi Poll, Gerald Portnoy, and Joyce Wallach as Co-Chairmen. This year's event raised $100,000, bringing the total donated to Hospice of Palm Beach County's patient care programs to $1,350,000 over the past 26 years.
This year's golf tournament hosted 144 players. Steve Politziner, vice-president and on-air host for ESPN 760 was the evening's emcee. More than 300 guests enjoyed a reception, dinner, and presentation to honorees Joel and Sherley Koslow for over ten years of continued support and valuable contributions to the event.
Event sponsors included: The Mall at Wellington Green, Charles Schwab & Co, Regions Bank, Nicklaus Golf Equipment, Statewide Commercial Insurance Company, Landau Jewelers, Littman Jewelers, Capri of Palm Beach, and Zachry Construction Corporation.
